The kids thought the rain storm was the best thing all week. They all ran out and played until they were soaked. Caleb didn't like the idea of sharing the umbrellas though.

Calebs first Halloween party!!! This is the nursery halloween party for this year. Caleb does not like nursery, and didn't really love the party either, but we got some cute pictures and he interacted with the kids that some day hopefully he will like to play with.
Well, we lived!!! We spent 8 days in a 16X8 ft. trailer with all 6 of us. Shawn went elk hunting during the day and the kids and I did school, games, hikes, cooking, cleaning, (and some yelling). I didn't know if we could do it, but it was actually overall a great time. I have never camped so "rough", and we had a lot of adapting to do, but we had fun, learned some new skills (dutch oven pizza) and shawn got a HUGE elk. It was a 6 point with a 48 inch spread. We are SO proud of him and excited to have elk meat again. Caleb was the only one that got an injury, which was amazing. Anyway, these are some of the pictures as highlights.
Caleb finally decided that he LOVES to ride the horses! He gets the biggest smile when we get to the field. The other kids have to fight for a chance to ride now.
Sarah and Hannah just had their dance recital. They did a great job and we were so proud of them. Joe decided that he was a gymnist while we were there.
This was soooo cute! We were in Bluebell and Joe climbed in this big pipe at Mona's. Caleb went over and started rolling him down the lawn. Then he kicked Joe out and climbed inside too.
For school this year we have a cooking class once a month! The kids really like it, and it will come in handy when they are older I am sure. This month we did bread. Sarah made a flower, Joe made a snake, and Hannah made a sunflower.
Sarah has lost 6 teeth now! All the top 4 are still missing. Shawn decided that her new name is Gummer. Thankfully she has a good sense of humor and just laughs. This is a picture of her cute smile!
This is Preston, my nieces little boy. He is super cute, and the kids LOVE him! Anyway, we went out to Bluebell to do some fencing, and he came along. I gave him a red vine and he LOVED it!I hope his mom loved cleaning his shirt too. :)
Hannah pointed out to me that she doesn't have 3 year old pictures!!! What kind of a mother am I turning into?!?!? Anyway, here is her new picture for the wall.
We are a CRAZY but having fun being that way family. We have 6 kids. They are Sarah-12, Joseph-10, Hannah-8, Caleb-6, Jacob-3, and Lydia -14 months. We love animals and the outdoors, and homeschooling!
*People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. *If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. *If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. *If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. *What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. *If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. *The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. *Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
