Well, the story is a little long but basically Hannah thinks that this is the new best place to hang out. She ask me tonight if she can get up there everyday....
Okay, so lasts year Caleb would just sit on my lap or play with a toy on the floor while we did school... not this year! We were writing our newspaper stories and Caleb decided to empty a whole bottle of hand soap onto the bathroom counter and then smear it all over in his hair and brush it with the brush!!! I almost died, but he was so proud and he didn't get it in his eyes which I have to think is amazing. So, I stuck his head in the kitchen sink and rinsed him off while he was screaming "No, brush soap, No, brush soap!" Anyway, here is the wonderful picture to prove I didn't kill him.
Okay so we are two weeks early, but may 5th is Chinese childrens day (and cinco de mayo and Joes birthday ) and we made our Carp windsocks to hang out for that day. The kids did a great job and they loved the idea of another childrens day!

I took the kids to the west jordan park so they could enjoy the nice warm weather. We had a good time, until we had to go home...
April Fools uncle naughty!!! The kids (mine and scotts) and I played some april fools jokes on the dads. We put bugs in their spaghetti sauce, salt in their water, and sugar in the salt shaker. They fell for all of them, and we had a good laugh....
Joe lost his first tooth!!! He was so excited and has since lost his second one!
These are a few pictures from our fabulous Easter in Bluebell. We went to the Easter egg hunt, died eggs, flew kites, shot guns, did a resurrection egg hunt, and did a lot of playing with cousins.
This weekend Shawn and I went to Nauvoo to see his parents. It was so much fun and a great break from normal life. We got to see mom in the sewing room and drug store, dad on the wagon and in the blacksmith shop, and we got to go to the temple with them Saturday night.
This was definitely a great opportunity to see Nauvoo and to be able to not have any crowds or anything slowing us down (except lack of sleep - we spent our first night in the airport on the floor...)
Hannah and Caleb are really pretty good friends. They play almost all day together, and they seem to really understand each other and are able to fight off the other one too... :) Sometimes we catch cute moments like this.
We are a CRAZY but having fun being that way family. We have 6 kids. They are Sarah-12, Joseph-10, Hannah-8, Caleb-6, Jacob-3, and Lydia -14 months. We love animals and the outdoors, and homeschooling!
*People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. *If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. *If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. *If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. *What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. *If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. *The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. *Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. *In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
